At Camping With Dogs, our mission is to encourage people to share their outdoor adventures with their dog. From camping and hiking, to kayaking and skiing, dogs love spending time with their humans in nature.
As a Nashville based brand, we want to give back to our community and find new ways to help dogs enjoy the outdoors. We believe that every dog deserves an adventure, which is why we are partnering with local animal rescues to help adoptable dogs find their forever home.
We are proud to announce partnerships with local Nashville organizations, Nashville Humane Association and Agape Animal Rescue. Our partnership with these groups allows us to highlight adoptable dogs in our community and help them find their forever home and a life of adventure.
Meet Nashville Humane Association
The Nashville Humane Association (NHA), incorporated in 1946 to protect the well-being of animals in Davidson County, is one of the oldest service organizations in Nashville. The roots of NHA can be traced back to a society founded in 1887 to protect children from inhumane working conditions and draft horses from mistreatment.
While our location and logo have changed throughout the years, our devotion to being a voice to those without one has remained steady and strong. Nashville Humane Association is committed to finding responsible homes, controlling pet overpopulation and promoting the humane treatment of animals.
Meet Agape Animal Rescue
At Agape, we have seen it all when it comes to man’s best friend. But despite the misfortunes these animals have endured, our commitment to them remains steadfastly clear: to provide loving, emotionally stable, nurturing foster care for them while they wait for their forever homes, for their forever families.
Our goal is to help these animals in every way we can…emotionally, socially, physically…so that the transition onto their forever homes will be as smooth as possible. We strive to teach our dogs basic obedience skills, including proper leash manners and friendly house manners. And we strive to match our dogs with the best family possible, working through as many applications as necessary to find a home that offers the dog the most fulfilling, enriched life.
