Review guidelines

Reviews here help someone decide where to take their dog next. A person reads every one before it goes live.

What makes a great review

• Review places you actually visited with your dog.
• Tell us what it was like for your dog: footing, shade, water, crowds, other dogs, wildlife.
• Mention when you went. Trails and campgrounds change with the seasons.
• Add photos of your dog there if you have them. Only photos you took, of your own dog.
• Keep it kind. Rangers, hosts and staff are part of this community too.

What we won't approve

• Don't encourage letting dogs off leash where leashes are required, or bringing dogs where they aren't allowed.
• Don't give medical advice. Share what happened and let readers talk to their vet.
• Don't post links, phone numbers or emails, or promote a business you're connected to.
• Don't post AI-generated photos or reviews. Real dogs, real trips.

Reviews are personal experiences. The dog rules we show come from each park's official page, and we note when we last checked. Rules change, so always check the official page the week you go.
