Good to know, from the park
- Heat and elevation can wear dogs out. Bring water, snacks and paw protection for hot rim pavement.
- The Grand Canyon Kennel on the South Rim boards dogs by day or overnight if you want to hike below the rim. It needs proof of vaccinations.
- The North Rim has its own, stricter rules and has had fire closures. Check the park before planning it.
