These are our Trailblazers. As ambassadors of Camping With Dogs, they help us to inspire the world to take their dogs and camp, hike, and explore the great outdoors. You can always find these brave souls hiking new trails and reaching new summits with their dogs. Make sure you follow them on Instagram to keep up with (and live vicariously through) their adventures!
I'm Katherine and I adventure with my hiking, camping, peakbagging pup Robin. He's small but tireless and frequently airborne! I yearn for new views and Robin thirsts for new edges to peer over, so we're in the process of covering the San Gabriels with our tracks.
Full time techie, part time photo hobbyist. Proud parent of 3 pups (and 1 puppy-like cat). When we're not playing in the mountains, we're on the beach -- and when we're not on the beach, we're probably on our way to the mountains. LA native, with a strong itch for travel, adventure, and all things cheese.
Alicia is the human behind West Coast Heeler Pack. Pack leader of Kona (blue) and Cali (red). We live on the West Coast of Vancouver Island, British Columbia. You are most likely to see us on the trails, reaching new summits as often as possible.
My name is Domonique, and I am a 25-year-old graduate student located in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, living with my two rescue dogs, Pippin and Took. Pippin is a tireless and sassy mutt, and Took is an ACD who is new to our pack! Together the three of us adventure nearly every weekend, aiming to bag more of those Rocky Mountain peaks.
I'm Katie Mogowski and I spend my days exploring the Arizona Wilderness with a couple of mutts, Chipper and Quinci! Chipper is a sweet, goofy bully blend who loves everyone he meets and enjoys everything he does! Quinci is a sassy, quirky terrier who I rescued from a hoarding situation. They're seasoned explorers who always keep me company and pushing me to adventure at every opportunity!
My name is Alta Anzalone and I live in Bend, Oregon with my pack of 4 crazy cattle dogs. We made the move to Bend from Santa Cruz, CA last summer in large part to enjoy more of the off leash trails and outdoor activities that can be found here. My motto is a tired cattle dog is a happy cattle dog!
My name is Leanne, I am 25 years old and am lucky enough to be the owner of two Heelers, Kyro & Kona. Kyro is my 4 year old Red Heeler and Kona is my 2 year old Blue Heeler. We live on the beautiful Vancouver Island in Canada. Our favourite adventures are hiking mountains, playing at the beach, snowshoeing and camping!
My name is Amber Bailey and I live in the gorgeous state of Washington on a mountain near snoqualmie pass. My two dogs, Ozzie and Ripley, are always adventuring and exploring the cascade mountains, rivers, and lakes with me. We aim to inspire people to take their dogs outside to enjoy what nature has to offer!
My name is George Rotan, born and raised in Mid part of Norway. I travel around with my companion Troja seeking new places to visit and see. I think dogs are more important than we think and that's what I'm trying to share through Instagram; the bond between human and dog.
Kelsey, Ty and their trail sidekick Aspen live for the great outdoors! Whether it's hiking in the Sierra Nevada Mountains or backpacking all over the Western United States, they live each day to experience nature with their dog. Like Camping With Dogs, they believe that interaction through outdoor activities build strong bonds between human and canine.
I live in the Pacific Northwest because it is a wonderful playground for folks who love to do things in the mountains. And my favorite companions for mountain adventures are my dogs. We love hiking, backpacking and skiing together and we are always on the lookout for wild terrain to explore. My current canine crew are Bernese Mountain dogs Frost and Fitzroy and Newfoundland River.
I'm Miranda, 23, from Utah. When I'm not at work you can find me in the mountains. I love camping, hiking, backpacking, exploring, fishing, roadtrips, and most of all my Aussie/Collie mix, Loki.

A seven year old Weimaraner, Lars and Lauren spend as much time as possible in the outdoors in and around Utah. Whether it's mountain biking, fly fishing, trail running, backpacking, or just plain hiking, there's nothing quite like taking our crazy, and surprising lazy, pup with us wherever we go. We know it's been a successful outing when Captain Shark passes out on the ride home!
Elena is a photographer and outdoor enthusiast based in beautiful Bend, Oregon. Elena has a Bachelor’s degree in photography, a minor in digital and multimedia arts and an Associates degree in diagnostic imaging. When she’s not fueling the women around her, you can find Elena playing in the outdoors with her two chocolate labs.
Heather Balogh Rochfort@acoloradogal
Heather is a Colorado gal who can be found peak bagging high altitude summits, backpacking into off-the-grid locales with her rescue pup Tally, skiing powder stashes so deep the snow stings her face, or exploring new cultures in developing countries.
Exploring the Arizona Desert with my adventure dogs by my side, we are always seeking out new and untraveled trails in Arizona. My dog Goose is my constant and devoted companion and is able to navigate the desert as well as a well seasoned trail guide. We are both always up for adventure.
As a single mom of two grown children, the empty nest is a fairly new phenomenon in our household. Camping and hiking with my Golden Retriever Indie has been the outlet that I desperately needed during this new cycle of family life. I am grateful everyday to be able to explore and share my experiences.

As an outlet to my desk job (which I actually love!), you can find me exploring Virginia's great outdoors with my husband and golden retrievers: Aspen (4) and Koa (1). As a part-time photographer, Aspen and Koa willingly stepped up to model for me when my husband didn't want to(!). As a family we enjoy camping, kayaking, hiking, and exploring local spots to recommend to others.
My name is Alex and I live in Portland, OR with my best bud Peanut. When I'm not at work as a sports dietitian, you can find me and Peanut in the mountains skiing, climbing, mountaineering, backpacking, and trail running - our favorite! I strongly believe that you should "never leave the dog behind," so he goes on all of my adventures with me. And sometimes that means throwing him in my backpack during a long ski descent or a technical climb!

Currently adventuring around the Adirondack Mountains in Upstate New York, we love hiking, camping and pretty much everything outdoors. Both rescue dogs, Tonto and Finn are my very best friends and I have been blessed with their company for the past 11 years. We will soon be relocating to the Pacific Northwest, where we plan on exploring together for many years to come!
I am a Nurse, live in Arizona, East Valley Phoenix area. I'm very active, have a 2nd° black belt in American Kenpo, love to backpack, SUP, hike, camp and mountain bike. My world revolves around my 4 dogs rocky (golden retriever), chewy (golden doodle), and blazer (white golden) and husky Kodi. They do most everything with me and we all love the awesome friends we have made from Instagram!
Hello! I'm Rachel, an RVT from Central California. You can find me one of two places - working, to keep your animals healthy; or, exploring new territory in the Sierra Nevada Mountains with my two dogs. Jet is my Australian Shepherd and Ranger is my ACD mix. I always encourage people to make time for the mountains. It's good for your soul.
I’m Tyler, a 25-year old recent transplant to Vail, Colorado from the sweltering heat of Las Vegas, Nevada. My one-year old Golden Retriever Cody and I are exploring all that the great state of Colorado has to offer and we love taking pictures of our adventures along the way. We hope to inspire other people to get out and adventure with their pups and we’re always looking forward to our next trip outdoors!
Phoenix, AZ is home to me (Brie) and Remmy: my go-anywhere, do-anything, three-legged, adventure mutt! My fiance and I adopted him as a tripawd in 2014. It is thought that Remmy had been hit by a car, but that has never held him back from living life to the fullest. Remmy constantly amazes us with everything he is capable of doing, be it hiking, camping, paddle boarding, or swimming. He inspires me to get out more, explore new places, and not let anything stand in the way!
Hey there! I'm Stephen and the little scruffy guy is Ollie. I'm originally a Texan and a Veteran who somehow ended up in Colorado, rescued a dog, and suddenly found myself outdoors more than I ever have been in my life. Ollie has reached the summit of almost half of Colorado's 14000ft peaks with goals to reach many more!
Hey everypawdy. I'm Marco and this cute chocobear is called Nala. We live in a little village in the Swiss alps. I work as a photographer and Nala is my steady companion. The two of us are always on the lookout for new adventures. Everyday we explore the alps and our beautiful mountains together and try to find new trails. I want to share these wonderful moments with my buddy — with everyone on Instagram and inspire them to go into the wilderness with their dogs. FIND YOUR WILD!
I’m Abigail, a photographer and an outdoor enthusiast, and these are my two sidekicks, Kodi (2) and Kuma (1). My husband, adventure pups and I live in Colorado and can be found trail-blazing mountains; traveling to new places; backpacking/camping; or napping and dreaming of eating tacos. We’re always up for adventures and making new friends, so be sure to say hello!
